The Lincoln Flux – 8500 Welders is particularly suitable for offshore applications. Excellent mechanical properties, good resilience even at low temperature and good CTOD. These characteristics remain the same throughout the thickness of the weld (from the root to the finishes). The 8500 is highly alkaline. The results are excellent in multipass It behaves well in AC current and is resistant to the porosity due to nitrogen.
